We used Jay and his crew for an extensive project in our backyard. Right from first interaction we knew we wanted to work with Jay. He came to our place twice to study and give us the quote and was nice enough to let us lead the design so that we were doing exactly as we needed while giving us inputs based on his experience. Other companies we worked with would try to push their ideas on us but Jay let us feel we were in control of the process. The project took 6 full days to complete and Jay and his crew were on time and worked with us through the project and was very open to changes while the project was ongoing. We couldnt be happier with our newly paved backyard and the lawn. Jay’s quotes were reasonable and I would not hesistate to work with Jay on any future landscaping projects.

We used JM to help landscape our backyard space. Jay was awesome and super responsive and very helpful with great suggestions. He helped us maximize our yard space, and develop a better grade for water runoff. We are extremely pleased with the rock-work & stepping stone path they created on the side of our home, along with the grass and additional rot-board support they added to our current fence after adding the topsoil and grass/rock-work. We’ll definitely be using JM Landscaping again in the future and surely recommend them to anyone looking for any type of landscaping work!

We hired JM Landscaping to remove a strip of lawn next to our driveway, build a rock retaining wall and pour a concrete aggregate slab (to match our existing driveway). From my first interaction with Jay (the owner), I was impressed by his professionalism. For example, the 1st time we spoke by phone, he had already pulled up our house on Google Maps, so we could have a productive conversation about what we wanted. When he came out to meet us, had ideas to help us decide the best way to tackle the project.

Right when we decided to proceed with the project (Nov) it got super cold outside. I was worried that we might have missed the opportunity, but Jay made sure to communicate his plan and he made it happen. He and his crew worked on a Saturday to do most of the prep work and to build the wall (in 25 degree weather with smiles on their faces), so that they would be ready the following week when the weather warmed up enough to pour the concrete. We really appreciated his willingness to fit us in (he had a large project going on at the time), and make sure that they were ready to complete the project as soon as the weather permitted.

Our driveway went from 2 parking spaces to 3, we have a rock wall that matches another rock wall on our property and our lot is MUCH more usable now (the old strip of lawn was wasted space).
